Hi Everyone! Greetings from Woodstock, NY. Last night we just played a benefit at the Bearsville Theater for the hurricane relief here in Woodstock, NY. It was fantastic! We saw and met lots of veterans from the world of rock and roll, and that was fun, to say the least. It was really touching to experience everyone coming together in support of the community that was devastated from the recent hurricane, Irene.
This past weekend we traveled to PA to play at the beautiful Spirit Fest that was put on by SpiritVoyage. It was an amazing event that was well attended, and all of the musicians were stellar. There were so many different expressions of the creative process.
I absolutely love seeing so many different musicians and practitioners who all share their unique creative expression. That is what makes the world so interesting to me. The energy at the festival was really sweet, and it was nice to be with old friends and meet new ones as well. It was really inspiring to see the SpiritVoyage team really take their vision to a new level.The next festival that Spirit Voyage is putting on is the Sat Nam Fest in Joshua Tree, CA in April of 2012. You won't want to miss it. We still have four concerts left to play up here in the northeast, and I am excited to play more with the band. It is always a new and exciting experience each time as no one concert is the same.
We are working hard on the next album and I CANNOT WAIT TO SHARE IT WITH YOU!
Thousands of people from all over the world have downloaded the Live in San Francisco recording we released last month. It is still available as a free download, but not for too much longer.
Well, it's time to get back to the song writing process. Once that stream is flowing, I like to stay in it.
