Hi Everyone!
It is October and rainy here in Nevada City, CA...I am really loving the moody weather! I love the fog and overcast days with light rain. It is really cozy to me, and we have such a nice view of the mountains and forest from our living room. Its so beautiful.
Over the last few days, I have been listening to a video of us playing at Sat Nam Fest a couple of weeks ago
in PA. It was a super festival with lots of great people from all over the world. I really enjoyed all the different and unique styles of music, and no one artist delivered the same way. That is what made this festival so much fun! Below is the video of 'Hey Gobind Hey Gopal' that we did as the last song of our set. Althought this video is simple, it is still so powerful and sweet. My heart opens so much when I listen to this live recording, and I am transported. I like to experience that with my own voice. It is always such a gift to me when I can use my own voice for a deep boost of energy and happiness. May it bring you the same. The video is 16 minutes in length, and at about 5 minutes in to the song the music and vibe really start to take off.....so check it out for yourself:-)
I want to personally thank Shunyam Productions, Shunyam and Veena, for taking this video and posting it. If you don't know Shunyam Productions, you will soon. They put on tons of INCREDIBLE events in their area, which is Boston, MA. They host many artists including Snatam Kaur and Deva Premal, and they also host an amazing festival called the Boston Yoga and Chant Festival which includes music, yoga, and vendors from all over! They host events with major Spiritual Leaders in the world such as AMMACHI and others. Well, I have had the honor of meeting and getting to know Shunyam and Veena, and I will tell you that they are some of the nicest and most supportive people I have ever met. They are truly living their purpose by getting these vibrations out to the planet, and if you have the blessing of meeting them sometime, then you will feel what I am saying immediately just by being around them and seeing their bright eyes and loving smiles.
