There is a place in Lake Wales, Florida that I travel to every winter solstice for healing and uplifting. It is the 3HO Winter Solstice Sadhana Celebration with three days of White Tantric Yoga. Every year I go, I get the blessing of going deeper and deeper in to my Soul and feeling more and more happy with who I am.
The cool thing about the experience, is that it lasts and builds on the year before. There is so much beautiful music, yoga practice, great classes and workshops, and people from all over come to experience the beautiful and powerful energy that they get so much from. Basically, it is a well of gold, and we can keep going and drinking from that well. It is such an honor, really, to be able to experience that Infinite Energy at such a powerful time of year with such a beautiful family of people!
Winter Solstice is a cozy and fun gathering as there are about 400-600 people that go every year, and the
weather in Lake Wales is usually really pleasant. There is a sweet Lake at the site and a nice beach. There is a wonderful kids camp for the young ones, and there are sweet gatherings at dinner with music and other art.
One of the most beautiful parts, to me, about winter solstice is early morning meditation with the whole camp. It is so mystical and sweet, and it is one of the things that really inspires me to come back year after year. And of course, every year there is a beautiful BAZAR full of gifts from all over the world, and the shopping is a nice treat!
To me, spending 7 days at winter solstice in Lake Wales, Florida with over 400 beautiful people is an awesome way to kick off the new year, and it is highly motivating and inspiring! I love you all, and I am really looking forward to seeing you soon!
